The admission to the B.E. courses, except NRI Quota, is through a State-Level Entrance Test called "Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test" (EAMCET) conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- 75% seats are alloted by the Convenor, EAMCET (State Government Concerned). In this 70% all seats are of uniform fee.
- Remaining 30% are category ‘B’ seats which are filled by Management of the college.
- 85% seats are reserved for local candidates.
Local Candidate Means:
- Studied in a particular / Concerned University area for a consecutive period of 4 years preceding year of passing.
- 15% seats are reserved for Non-Local Candidates.
Non-Local Candidate means:
- Residing other than concerned university area.
- Not studying consecutively for four years.
- Less than seven years stay.
- If a candidate has studied in other state but his/her parent are domicile of the state /University area concerned (minimum of 10 years stay).
For Management quota seats:
- Admission Notification is published by the college in almost all dailies of the state.
- Application forms are sold and registered.
- Candidates are admitted on the basis of merit in qualifying examinations.
Lateral Pass Entry Admissions :
- Under this category diploma holders who qualify ECET entrance examinations are admitted directly into BE 2nd year.
- 10% of the total intake is admitted under this category.
- 100% seats are filled by the Convener on the basis of ECET rank.
